      Can anyone help as i am getting so many different answers. I bought a house in 2012 for 65000 euro bank repo i have just sold it for 87500 euro can i reclaim any of the tax back ? Estate agents are saying yes lawyer is saying no ?? Capital gains totals 22500 euro

      Hi Jools,

      What tax do you have in mind? The tax you paid when you purchased? Was that VAT or ITP (resale transfer tax)?

      Where is the property?

      I just sold a house in the UK & am a Spanish Resident. Please could you tell me how much Capital Gains Tax do I have to pay in the UK & how much in Spain?
