Can someone help with a very worrying problem. We are a small community of 20 properties in Costa Blanca. For 10 years we have been in discussion with the Town Hall regarding the release of bond money available to finish off basic infrastructure the builder (now defunct) left incomplete. The Town Hall has only just told us there were no building licences for our properties which is news to us, as all the owners have held fully registered title deeds, properties on the Catastro, etc and have been paying IBI and Basura taxes. This may be just intimidation as we have indicated we will now be taking matters to the courts. Question: Could our deeds and property registration be revoked if it is found that there were no licences issued for our properties? Our lawyer tells us that we would have been unable to register the properties if there had been no licences in the first place, but it is very worrying. Not sure who is telling the truth! Thank you

Have just found out from the English version of the Nota Simple on your website, that title deeds list documentation pending, if any, at the end. I’ve checked our deeds and the only item missing is the LFO – understandably, given the circumstances.
