Can I legally protect access to my drive way in a gated community

I am having problems with neighbours parking over my driveway, when the development was under construction we paid to have the kerb dropped and gates installed so we could have off road parking. We were told by the developer Euromarina, that this would ensure we always had access. However We are within a gated community and the president is saying that there is no way we can protect our access and these people are entitled to park across our drive.
Can we do anything to change this?

The president may not be correct, I have 2 parking spaces in my gated community which are mine in the deed book. Check your purchase contract.
