Yes, its a lovely place a bit off the beaten track. The restaurants are very good and access is excellent. 198k may be a bit steep but then again anything front line will probably hold its price and although a 1 bedder, it really depends on the square meterage.
I know Cabopino very well, spent many happy hours there on my mates boat orin the many bars in the port.
With the apartments there it all depends on location and orientation, for that sort of money today you would want a south facing port view.
I know of some apartments recently changing hands at circa e150k, but they are inward facing, all the apartments are small, 1 beds around 50-65 sq mtrs and two beds around 80 sq mtrs.
I did hear that there were some ex timeshare apartments coming onto the market, I could PM you with contact details but my friend who lives there is away for two weeks.
I expect you know that Cabopino port was built for the location of the BBC,s soap Eldorado, I would assume that all here is legal given the lengh of time its been built etc, I know people who live here that have LFO,s, Inez might be able to confirm this.
The apt looks really nice and reads well, go and see it!, photos look very (estate agent wide angle) will seem smaller than it looks.
The port area is public, and they are charged 8 euros a day in the summer to park, residents have a pass should they wish to park in the port.
I know about ley de la costas, worthing checking on!, would not think its going to be a problem, applies to buildings actually built on the beach
Well Boothy
I didnt realise that, Coin is miles away from Cabopino, you live and learn.
Cabopino though was the location for all the ‘boat, marina, beach sceens’.
Eldorado was based in Coin but they used everywhere for local shots, Fuengirola was featured a lot, Mijas village, Banus a little and even estepona got in on the act!!!!!
I still know some of the original ´cast´(locals used as extras!!)
