We need advice about buying woodland in Galicia.
Any pitfalls to watch out for.

Any information about forestry and selling timber gratefully received.
Does anyone know anything about Tenzas Forest ?

We haven’t made the move to Spain yet, but we are very keen to.

If it’s anything like Asturias then woodland is overseen by the state (areas are defined) and you will need to consult the equivalent of the Galician Forestry Commissions regs to see exactly what you can do and the permits required to do it.
That’s all my input as I am unfamiliar with the Galician system

There are some cold calling centres based in Spain offering some dodgy land schemes including woodland…BEWARE!
