Hi, This is a great website!

I am in the process of looking for a used car in Murcia and as all the cars from dealers are so expensive (i.e double the price of the uk in most cases) I have decided to look at cars sold privately, can anyone give me some advice on what steps I need to take to ensure I am acting within the law and what precautions I should take to protect myself before parting with my cash. Do I need to have an N.I.E number tp buy a used car in Spain and is there such a thing as HPI checking service out here?
