Drove past a roundabout at El Rosario (Marbella) where their is a block of around 12 townhouses, the residents have installed a banner (in Spanish) which says “We have been here 2 years and still no final build licence, as such we have been abandoned” I think some of the owners are spanish, one or two of them are up for sale.
They must have used good, independent lawyers too 😉

I hope your information will be something other people in a similar position, ie. no LFO, will bear in mind before completing on their property! 😉 It is sad peoples dreams end in a nightmare.
My husband & I are are going to Marbella next week to see our new lawyer. No doubt we will pay a visit to Santa Maria Golf…for old times sake!!
