      Well, these people deserve it!. Obviously they didn’t do their homework 30 years ago….went in just to make money and with rose tinted glasses. Didn’t they have the foresight (or a crystal ball) to realise that the authorities would retrospectively change the rules tens of years later!

      Why would anyone buy in the Costas these days?

      (Yes, I am being facetious! 😉 )

      Anybody know what press coverage is given in the spanish papers – Do they care? Be interested to know from our ex. pat forum users.

      Yes, it is an old law but there is the odd article. The last was in the spanish papers a couple of months ago. It is not taken seriously because they have been talking about it since about 1985!
