I´m a spanish architect. After reading this page for a time I highly appreciate it as a bright analysis of spanish property market.
I´ve rebuild an ancient (XVIIIth) house for my own having in mind to sell it.  I offer it as a good oportunity for any british investor that could want to live in Spain.
My house is in the North, Santander region, in a little town called Argüeso in a mountain and skiing environment, with an ancient castle and fantastic views and mountain trekking routes. There is a ferryboat from Santander to  Portsmouth (Monday and Thursday at 15:00) and Plymouth (Wednesday at 21:30). You have flights from Santander to London Stansted, Dublin, Madrid, Barcelona, Brussels, Frankfurt, Paris Beauvais, Rome Ciampino, Sevilla, Valencia, Tenerife Sur, Malaga Costa del Sol, Lanzarote, Ibiza, Gran Canaria, Palma de Mallorca…
Cantabria is highly appreciated by british tourist.

The house is restaured in a, I must say, really nice way, respecting all its original flavour. I´m proud of it as a part of my work and I think you could really like it.
