Hi all, still searching for the ellusive bargain in paradise (ha ha)
has anyone had any dealings with Andalucian dream homes.
had a phone call from them today trying to coax me into an inspection trip (don’t worry, i know the drill)
been told Estapona is a pretty good place to be any thoughts, comments on either point would be appreciated, as usual

Be very much on your guard with recemmended hot spots, great investment, fantastic returns etc from them. I, and many others, have been convinced in to buying off plans with the promise that they will sell them for you before completion. When that time comes, they simply don´t want to know. After being your best pal with phone calls every day, they suddenly don´t want to even speak to you. They sell what they want and where they can get the best comission. Contact a small local agent in the area that interests you. If you are not sure where you want to buy, come down rent a car and drive round different places. Maybe even rent somewhere before you make your mind up. I t is a big decision and a lot of money.

Thanks again for your wise words but as i have said before, i have no intention of buying off plan (even if i’d thought of it before, this forum has scared that away)
I am looking for a resale or recently completed property (with LFO) for my own full time habitation, i am not looking to rent out or make a buck by selling on.any thoughts????? 8)

Hi Chilly, I still think you should contact a small well established agent in the area where you want to buy. They will personally know the properties unlike the bigger agencies who has thousands of properties on their books. You will also not be dealing with a salesman who is not going to be there for you if you have any problems. I have bought a couple of properties with local agents and they have been absolutely fantastic. The experience with andalucian dream homes however has been a real eye opener how an agency should not operate or indeed be allowed to.
