      Hi
      can anyone help me?

Leria are a Spanish developer on the Costa Del Sol.

The have built two developments, La Alcazaba at Puerto Banus and Alcazaba Beach, Estepona.

Are these quality builds and do they have a good reputation?

The reason I ask is that they are now advertising a new development called Alcazaba Hills near Estepona Golf which I am considering investing in.

I was just checking on any views board members may have on the developer.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks Draken, helpful but very brief.
Can you or anyone else expand on this.

      Hi Black Pear,
I have to say even though Drakans info was brief, he answered your question . If he gives these developers the seal of approval, I personally would trust his opinion enough for me to investigate further and to seriously consider buying if it fitted my criteria!

Investing is an interesting word in the current housing market in Spain.

I suspect it will be a good idea to think very carefully if you are thinking of investing in off-plan property, unless it is for personal/family use as second/holiday home.

Over supply of off plan properties and falling property prices in some areas of Spain have fuelled a buyers market. Also, there are so many properties for rent – apparently it is becoming increasingly more difficult to achieve good rental potential in some areas.

You are welcome Black Pear. On many occassions when people ask about a developer/development there is often a “noooo , don’t buy there!!” or ” they are dreadful developers” It is nice to see a positive response, especially coming from a well respected lawyer on the forum! 😀

It is just my personal opinion though 😉 What OliverB has to say is also worth noting.

      Good luck in your search.
