Some people may remember the developer Aifos, who were big on the Costa del Sol back in the boom, and had a reputation that stank.

Aifos, owned by Jesús Ruiz Casado and Teresa Maldonado, have just lost their fight to get their debts written off, so now the company will be liquidated by the administrators selling some €780m of assets to pay off debts of around €188m.

They should have been liquidated years ago.
