In today’s Diario Sur..AIFOS have bought the Byblos Hotel in Mijas golf, cost 40 million euros. Don’t know how they manage to do this when their bank accounts are supposed to be frozen, just another quirk of spanish law I suppose…or have I missed some development on tis issue.
I think all the purchasers who have been ‘stung’ by ought to book themselves into this swanky hotel of theirs, and refuge to budge until they get their money back.
In fact why don’t ALL of us who have been ripped off and still waiting for our monies stage a sit-in there, and tell AIFOS to send the bill to our various developers.
Might be one way to get the developers to pay up??? 😆
This hotel was for sale for 9million euros around 4 years ago.
So Aifos paid 40 million last week, hey? Well they don’t know what they’re doing with residential construction but they do have good hotels (Guadalpin Banus and Marbella).
AIFOS say they will spend 8 million refurbishing the Byblos, still can’t understand how they manage to get around the frozen bank accounts. Oh, the two hotels in Marbella are thought to be illegal, they have also had some bad comments from guests staying there on Tripadvisor web site.
what the hell is going on with the spanish legal system, are they run by aifos?…………………. they might as well be for the help they are offering the huge amount of people being swindled.
they seem to have money to burn!
Why would they not when it is someone elses money that they are using.
If they bought the hotel then they will probably send me the money that they owe me as soon as possible.
You are right! where do they manege to get the money from considering their back accounts are supposed to be frozen???
I will let you all know the moment i get my money back from them 😡
Can you believe it! There must be something going down between the pair of them that they have agreed to settle out of court.
Mabey they are going to decide together another way of recovering the 20 million euro that they were suing them for.
Then again they were in business together with Ocean Estates getting 10%
comission from them ,thet is until it went sour on them.
We will just have to wait and see then!! 😕
