I was quote E2100 for air conditioning to be installed in our 2 bed apartment. I asked to be quoted for the lounge and 2 bedrooms. The apartment and bedrooms are already wired or whatever the term is for air conditioning – it is just a matter of an unit outside connecting inside. Is this quote excessive?? I would like to know.

Sounds horrendous. Carrefour are selling air con with heat pump units for just over €200 inc installation at the moment.

I think Angela is being quoted for the boxed in air conditioning that runs to all the different rooms not the single type units,never the less I would not know the price but I am in the process of getting a quote off my builder for our 3 bed 3 bath villa which he is building and will let you know.

Thanks for information. I was told before by someone in Spain that it would cost around E300 in local supermarket. The person that quoted me is the furniture supplier to all the apartments where I am buying. I will try and find out more.

Angela, from what I have gleaned from this forum, the best thing to do for absolutely everything…is be independent. don’t “go with the flow”. The furniture people you are dealing with have a captive audience….they can charge what they like !. Do your own research. I’m sure you’ll save many euros !
