Hello. Some Spanish friends want to sell their townhouse in Torre Del Mar and feel their best option is to market it to UK buyers. They’ve asked me where they can advertise it without incurring high up-front costs. I have no idea so wondered if anyone can offer any advice? Many thanks.
The way the exchange rate is at the moment I am surprised that your friends think that UK buyers are their best option. However, if they are insistant just use google to see who does the most advertising.
Can highly recommend creativepropertymarketing.com. You pay an upfront fee which is very reasonable, you provide photos/video and description. Rick and Sarah are soooooo helpful you really cannot go wrong. No agents fees and they get you on the important portals like prime location etc. I do not work for them and have never met them but have spoken to them lots while listing my house with them.
I too have used them to sell a small townhouse my family owned in Valencia. They are very professional, easy to deal with and frankly, couldn’t be more helpful. For less than €300 you cannot grumble (their advertising cost may have gone up).
Personally, I think it is high time the ridiculous fees of traditional agents were stopped – in the modern age, buying and selling houses through the Internet is a fast, efficient and easy way to do business.
Alongside sites such as this, things really have moved on in Spain and there is no better way to avoid paying the arrogant estate agent than selling yourself privately for a fraction of the cost!
