I bought my first Spanish car last August and its ITV test is due in October.
Can anyone tell me the procedure for getting this done please.

Will I receive any paper work through the post nearer the time, a reminder perhaps? or an appointment?

Do I just turn up at the ITV center on spec, or do I have to make an appointment?

Along with my reflective jacket and triangle, do I need to have spare bulbs, tools and a first aid kit in the car in order to pass the test?

I would appreciate some advice from those of you who have been through the process.
