Hope this is the right thread to post on!

We have an abandoned van in a parking bay alongside our Townhouse.

The bay doesn’t belong to our Community – so the Community cannot act as a body to get it removed. It is an eyesore, and a potential health and safety problem. The van belongs to a resident in another Community and he is not responding to requests to move it.

Has anyone come across this particular problem? Do you know what the correct procedure is for getting it removed? We gather it is not driveable or taxed or insured.
      Thanks

Does the parking bay belong to the public road? If so, as it’s untaxed/uninsured the police can be involved.

If not, one moonless night, torch it. 😀

Thanks guys! Can’t see myself holding a torch for this man or his van!!

Yes – it is a public road beside a public park – so I think I’ll just grass him up to the Police. Epharisto Charlie. 😆
