      Hi there,

When we were purchasing our apartment – this firm of solicitors were recommended to us and we found them very good – the particular chap that looked after us was dutch and fluent in spanish and english and very professional.

      Lex Union,
Pablo M. Gomez Ladron De Guevara,
      C/ Torrevejenses Ausentes, 2 – 1
      03181 Torrvieja

      TEL/Fax (0034) 96 670 69 86
      TEL/Fax (0034) 96 570 51 83

      EMail: lexunion@teleline.es

The chap we used was Robert Stitger.

Hope they work out for you.

      Dol

Once you have used them, please let me have you impression of these lawyers. If you also have a good impression I will consider them or my list.

      Thanks

      Dear Mark,
I have emailed Mr Stitger and had a response within 24 hours. He has requested to see the contract and will then discuss options with me. So a positive response…… I will let you know my overall impression in due course.
      Thanks,
      Angela

      Hello,

I always recommend use of a lawyer when purchasing property here, but Never ever use a lawyer recommended to you by the estate agent that showed you the property you are purchasing. Find a good, independent and recommended local lawyer who has thorough knowledge of the area in which you are purchasing your property. Ask your local consulate – staff there may be able to help. You can also send an email to Euroresidentes (euroresi@euroresidentes.com) specifying where you are looking for (or have found) a property to buy….

      Hi Guest,

Could you let us know how you got on – Mr. Stitger does not seem to work for Lex Union any more – maybe I’m wrong – let me know his details – I found him to be good but would like an update on his situation.

      Best regards

      Angela
