Average months taken to sell a house in various areas of the CDS. 😯

Amazing stats katy, especially for Marbella the hot spot of the CDS. How long I wonder to sell in more rural towns like Coin, Alhaurin etc? Presumably a lot of this time delay is due to vendors refusing to reduce prices.

Maybe one ray of hope for Spain will be because of the harsh early Winter in Northern Europe which may tempt some again to buy 🙄

You have to question those stats, they dont seem right to me at all. I know people who have been trying to sell for 2 years, but they do seem to sell if they reduce prices. So whats with all these properties up for 5+ years, even through the “boom” years?

Presumably youd think waiting so long would have an impact on their lives, surely they have a reason to sell, like they need to sell so they can go someplace else??? or are these people just putting their propertiesup for sale for a the hell of it?

Either way, you cant beat a british curry, certainly makes the trip back worthwhile.

The spanish are so stubborn though! They would rather stay put and wait than drop the price!
