Here you have an example of a 50pc discount on the coast. Altamira, the real estate company of Santander bank, is offering 3-bed semis of 156m2 in Vera, Almeria, for €82,400, down from €164,800, that’s 50pc. They probably come with easy financing too. Assume around 80pc over 25 years and you are looking at less than €300/month. Not very inspiring property or location though, I’ll give you that.

What does it cost to rent a new 3 bed place in Vera? Surely more that 200 Euros!
