this will be intresting to see who has a back bone in these tough times can anyone afford it.
Is it now time for a referendem to see if the british people still want to pay for the big euro dream if we was to pull out what would it mean would our exports to european countries really dry up while the pound is so weak,would we miss the immigration that being a member has allowed or would it ease the pressure and let us pick those we need

You can blame that last Labour government for it. They agreed to the procedures whereby the EU commission could hike the budget to the levels we are now seeing.
Thanks to the Lisbon Treaty there is no veto and can’t be blocked. Britain and everyone else will just have to pay up. It’s a disgrace. The UK will have to contribute something in the order of €10bn in a time of austerity.
It seems austerity does not apply to the EU Commission. 😈
