The Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona has sparked some remarkable partnerships, including one between a premier sailing team, and the city’s most exclusive new development Antares Barcelona.
Sail Team BCN was formed specifically to represent Barcelona, Catalonia, and Spain in two prestigious races being held around the America’s Cup in Barcelona this autumn: the Unicredit Youth America’s Cup and the inaugural Puig Women’s America’s Cup. The Women’s Cup, which began on October 5th, marks the first time this historic race has ever been held.
To celebrate this milestone and the launch of Sail Team BCN, Antares Barcelona has opened its doors to host the team in its luxurious surroundings. Since August, team members Neus Ballester, Silvia Más, and Maria Cantero have been living at Antares, enjoying the tower’s world-class amenities. These include a stunning rooftop pool and Sky Terrace with breathtaking 360° views of the city and sea (including the race zone), an indoor pool and gym, paddle tennis courts, a sauna, and a yoga pod.
