The Mandarin Oriental hotel brand has announced a new luxury residences project of 30 apartments in Madrid’s prime-property Salamanca district to be ready early 2025.
Located on the corner of Hermosilla and Nuñez de Balboa streets in Madrid’s upmarket Salamanca district, the Mandarin Oriental Residences Madrid will have 30 apartments spread across seven floors, with two and three-bedroom units of up to 283 sqm. Each flat will feature a private balcony and three parking places, whilst six of the residences will also have private pools.
Mandarin Oriental have been developing luxury residential projects in cities where they have existing hotels for quite some time, with the hotels providing services to the residences. But this project is being referred to as a ‘standalone’ branded residency, implying there will be no support from the Mandarin Oriental Ritz hotel in Madrid.
However, owners of the Mandarin Oriental Residences in Madrid are promised access to a wide range of exclusive amenities including a residence lounge, landscaped garden, beauty salon, fitness centre, and secure underground parking.
On the wellness front the Mandarin Oriental Residences building in Madrid will reportedly have an outdoor heated pool, spa treatment rooms, an indoor lap pool, and changing facilities.
According to Adelina Wong Ettelson, global head of residences marketing at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group: “What makes standalone branded residences so appealing to our buyers is that they offer homeowners ultimate privacy, hassle-free living, and the gracious and unique services of Mandarin Oriental.”
“We are delighted to introduce Mandarin Oriental Residences, Madrid which will set a new standard for elevated living in one of Europe’s most exciting destinations,” says James Riley, Group CEO of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. “These exceptional homes will redefine luxury living, with access to our brand’s legendary amenities and services.”
The Mandarin Oriental Residences Madrid luxury new development is a collaboration between hotel brand Mandarin Oriental, Spanish real estate company Blasson Property Investments, and Swiss private bank Pictet. The architects are Bueso-Inchausti & Rein Arquitectos, and the interior designer is Belen Domecq and her Cosmic Studio.
There is already a Mandarin Oriental Residences new development in Barcelona.
