4,000 illegal homes in Murcia under threat

The Spanish press reports that 4,000 homes illegally built without planning permission in the countryside around the City of Murcia could face demolition if owners do not take the necessary steps to legalise their properties.

Many of the properties can be legalised if they comply with zoning regulations, but local residents complain that few people understand the application process.
