Spanish Property Market*

It is important to know what’s going on in the Spanish property market if you are thinking of buying or selling property in Spain. After all, how can you make a judgement about your position as a buyer or seller if you don’t know where the market is heading?

Buyers, in particular, need to be clued up about the market before they make an offer, as they can’t rely on the information given to them by estate agents, who have a reason to exaggerate the market’s potential. These Spanish property market reports are here to help you understand the market, and provide you with information that is free from a sales-driven bias.

Every 6 months I prepared a report on the state of the Spanish property market, when the latest figures on the Spanish property market are available (I used to prepare them every quarter, but I’ve decided that every 6 months is sufficient). At the end of the year I prepare an annual review analysing the performance of the market in the year gone by, and looking ahead at what to expect from the Spanish property market in the year ahead. In the table below you will find links to all the reports that I have written to date.
