There is no doubt the location of this property is excellent – easy access straight off tarmac, close to amenities but in a quiet location. However, the house doesn’t disappoint either…
The house is detached and offers a light and bright living environment – a long way from the darkness associated with many Spanish country homes. Built in 2000, this is the perfect home for those that want a traditional Spanish environment but also want a bright home with modern comforts, good insulation, well fitted kitchen and bathrooms and a comfortable year-round home to enjoy.
The house is set across two floors and offers 3 bedrooms, all with fitted wardrobes and a family bathroom on the first floor.

There is also a very handy shower room on the ground floor – perfect for guests staying, when working in the garden and as a separate bathroom for visitors.

Land and gardens
The house comes with a large plot of land which extends to nearly 3 acres in total. Being flat, the paddock area would be ideal for horses but the area immediately around the house is more formal and enclosed with a variety of spaces to enjoy at different times of day or night.
The large terrace is the perfect space to relax or entertain and enjoy the views of the mountains and the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. The terrace is surrounded by landscaped gardens with a range of raised borders – perfect for gardeners and easily maintained.
Entrance to the property is via security gates and there is ample parking for a number of cars.
There is an ornamental fish pond, a kennel with an integrated and fully enclosed run. A large wooden shed is currently used as a workshop (with power and light), there is a further tool shed, ideally placed next to the vegetable garden plus a greenhouse, perfect for bringing on the plants.
A gate provides access to the flat paddock which would be ideal for horse lovers. This paddock area has not been touched with chemicals in the last 10 years so can easily be considered “organic” and this means future use as an organice vegetable garden or orchard would be easy.
There is space to create stables and being rustic land, this should be easy to get permission for.
Equally, if you wanted to create an olive orchard or add to the existing vegetable gardens, the possibilities are endless!
Currently, the owners have three large water tanks which collect rain water and can be used for the gardens and paddock – there’s even a water pump fitted to help.
At the far end of the paddock is the boundary of the land which is a local river course – this can be fished and you can catch your own Barbel (a carp like variety).
The gardens and land as well as the surrounding countryside creates the perfect opportunity for bird watchers and nature lovers, walkers and cyclists. No matter what you enjoy, this is the environment in which to enjoy it!
