Although the owners are not averse to dogs, this house does not have the constant dog barking that can be common in the countryside and nor is the house spoilt by the smell of local goat farms!
They also loved the fact that the house has a central hallway rather than entering into a living room or kitchen – all the rooms and the stairs to the first floor are accessed from this space. Also, being a two storey house it is different from the many single floor country homes available.
