Note that for this service you will also need to send our trusted partner a notarised copy of your main passport page (copia legitimada) if you are EU national, and a notarised copy of your entire passport, including a Schengen area entry stamp in the last month, for all other nationals. The copy must be prepared by a Spanish notary in Spain.
So, on one of your visits to Spain, when you find a property you want to buy, make sure you go to a Spanish notary to get a copia legitimada of your passport. It takes 10 minutes to do, and costs about €10. This will help us save you a lot of time and frustration dealing with the Spanish state.
