flosmichael, I get the impression that Corfu is just one of many property markets like those I mentioned that have gone pearshaped, even despite it’s prettier side and nicer looking properties.

Portugal is another that’s suffering. Whilst France is too, at least the properties there have a lot of character.

I don’t think anywhere is now safe for property investment, especially Spain. Apart from the problems and coruptness we all now know about, it’s the sheer costs of completion and agents’ commissions in Spain and other countries, plus poor exchange rates that make these places a non starter.

It really is ‘Buyer Beware’!
