I know which one I would go for – Barbados any day, even if it was more expensive (which it isn’t). I would expect the customer service in Barbados to be better, a major benefit for parents hoping to get some R&R.

In Spain, prices went up and service went down during the boom, which partly explains why Spain’s tourism is down, as it is now so easy to compare prices and read reviews. Spain is going to have to pull its finger out.

You think? I don’t know about Barbados but I have been all over Europe and I don’t get the service I get in Spain anywhere, maybe perhaps London.
Anyway, I would probably go to Barbados as well!
