In theory 10 mins to Banus but 30 mins or more in summer, long way to the beaches too. Agree about the chavs though but Banus is full of them too…and eurotrash. We used to live close to Los Naranjos golf and had the same problem getting to the shops and restaurants in summer, just popping to the supermarket for a few items was a traffic nightmare. Have never regretted moving east of Marbella.
If I were really wanting to live in a golf course development I would choose Elviria hills, only has a 9 hole course but lots of facilities and they have just reduced the price to 25 euro even if you play all day. know a lot of owners there and they are all really nice people. Minutes to the best beaches, shops and restaurants, walking distance wanting to golf range.
If you are wanting to rent, golfing groups don’t want to stay on out of the way courses, they like to be near nightlife and play a different course every day.
