We bought in the Country Club last year and have no regrets! The house is well built, with cavity wall insulation, and is easy to keep both warm and cool. The place is immaculate and VERY well run. Everyone has been incredibly friendly. The weather is incredible. The urbanisation is near to everything, yet peaceful. The cost of living is low, VERY low! We are absolutely delighted. The habitation certificate issued is being solved, new properties are being built this year and frankly…..it’s not something I consider important in any way nor does it appear an obstacle for others. The bargain prices won’t last. There are hundreds of new build apartments in Murcia from bankrupt developers which are being drip fed by the banks. When they are sold off it will no longer be a buyer’s market. The high speed train network comes to Murcia this year and the new Covera airport should open in January, San Javier closing. This is 35 minutes away. Alicante is an easy drive on motorway and dual carriageways almost to our front door! I recommend downloading the Costa Calida Chronicle for free. It’s a great way to see just how the expats have made the community which we thankfully now enjoy being part off.
