      What happened to some of the regular posters? Nice to see Peter back. Jim has gone and I do miss Charlie’s wit and excellent recall.

      For those who aren’t interested in Spanish property anymore we could have an off-topic update 💡

      Charlie is certainly missed, I hope Peter Good didn’t take one look yesterday and run a mile, although not in our area, he made some great contributions.

      Charlie has been in the UK for a week or so. I don’t think she has been online.
      Katy as you will see from a posting of mine Jim/ Just Frank has been posting, hence the degeneration of a thread.

      It is a great pity that we have lost valuable/knowledgeable contributors, especially the lawyers.

      Oh. I meant the other Jim, think he was a real normal person. Was in property on the costa blanca. Didn’t always agree with him but was a nice guy. Maybe I am confused now 😕 😆

      Oh, I know which Jim you mean. He was an REA or something to do with property in Spain, but moved back to the UK, Wiltshire, I think.
      I really miss Drakan. He was very helpful to Charlie & myself during our case against the developer/bank.

      Agree with p800aul 100%. Cant go on hammering Developers, Lawyers, Estate Agents, Mayors, Council workers, Telephone companies, Town halls, Notaries, Judges, Junta, Hacienda, Banks, etc.

      The law of diminishing returns apply.

      well I must admit, similar problems are repeated many times on the forum.

      perhaps we should have a ”happy clappy” thread for P800aul, and others who don’t like ugly truths rammed down their throat time and time again, where problems with the things you have mentioned must all be ignored?

      No need on my account, I’m already happy.

      Those that want the “ugly truths” (for some) just need to do a Forum Search (if their research extends to the use of such things) ignore the problems at your peril !!

      Hi Katy

      the Jim you are talking about is JimInSpain and was based in Gata De Gorgos near Javea. I met him a few times and we became sort of friends. He moved back to the UK a year and a half ago. I believe he still has his property here and rented it long term but his wife wanted to move back and it was better for his children(child) to be in the UK (child was missing friends i think)

      I have often wondered what he is doing now and he really is a thoroughly decent chap (one of the few estate agents round here who actually took the time to understand what people wanted rather than sell them a property)
