Long term it is good and the leisure industry will grow – people come here for cosmetic treatments and fertility ‘help’ already, wellness is set to expand as the next trillion dollar business (according to some american analyst I read somewhere)
Not so sure about Torremolinos being linked with the word luxury though!
I suppose we need to keep it in perspective. It is only the Trafford Centre and not Disney World. The concept is probably more to do with keeping the WAGS happy whilst Wayne and his mates are on holiday in Puerto Banus.
It sounds as if the site is where they were intending to build the thousands of houses all built by Arenal 2000 (he of the malaya case). Change of plan then 🙂
I don’t miss much at all of the UK…well maybe a good pork sausage, but I will be quite delighted to shop in the Trafford Centre again, especially if the take-away Indian is as good. Let’s hope they bring Marks and Spencers along too.
Marks & Spencer had two branches one w3as in Madrid & one was in Seville. The Seville one is closed for sure and I am pretty certain that the Marks & Spencer in Calle Serrano madrid is also closed.
Marks & Spencer did dip its toe in Spain. Seville in my opinion was not the right city as I could not see Savilleanos such conventional people would opt to buy in Marks & Spenser.
Madrid Branch was totally in the wrong place. The street houses offices and the Head office of our great friends the “Colegio de Abagados”
The Trafford centre would be a more appropriate place for it.
