Hello everyone, Mark in particular maybe, I was wondering if there is a way of doing a search in the Private Sales Forum so that you could enter your price range and area of interest. There may be this facility and maybe I have missed it,!!I’m not at all technical but this would be a great way to find properties without wading through lots of pages, any ideas please.

Nice idea, but with the standard technology package this forum runs on it’s not an option.

I’m not sure what to think of the private sale forum. I don’t get much feedback on it, so I don’t know how much value it offers to vendors and buyers. Most of the posts seem to get read at least a few hundred times in the first couple of months, but I don’t know if it is actually helping to put buyers and sellers together, which is the objective. Anyone got an opinion on this?

Yes, I understand that it might have been a bit technical. 😆

Just a thought though, I wonder if anyone who put their home for sale on the site would be prepared to pay a small amount of money which could go towards having a system like the one I mentioned where you can enter location and price etc. I have no idea what these things cost but say it was 10 pounds a month, I for one would be happy to chance it if I had a home for sale and might make a private sale??? 😆 I wouldn’t do it as the system is now perhaps because it does mean trawling through lots of houses………….just a thought
