A few months ago I might have been tempted as this is a good price in €, but with fees it is still nudging £115,000 on current exchange rates.

You should hold it until the £ becomes stronger. The £j lost 20% in about 7 months versus Euro.

Try sell you apartment to other Euro holders, Brits are very unlikely to purchase in Spain at the current exchange rate.

Thanks for the reply, appreciate what you are saying but there will always be people buying in Spain if the price is right, even with the rate as it is.
I have a friend working in property in Almeria and theyve done 13 sales since xmas so there are buyers, albeit less.
At any rate, the price of this property still allows future profit.

Also know of a 2 bed appt on the same La Torre Golf resot, east facing priced for only 112000 euros! Maybe that could be of interest even with the poor exchange rate?

Front line golf and I would be interested, Polaris are currently offloading quite a few mostly non frontline golf properties at La Torre at 35% reductions to usual SP.

Hi Mary, the apartment for 134,950 is not frontline but still well positioned, ie 2nd floor and south facing. Yes i have seen Polaris reducing prices, but as you say its for their properties that havent sold well, ie north facing etc.

Yes thats true, when I looked at the listings it was only the townhouses (and a villa) that caught my eye, the apartments still looked a tad pricey when compared to certain resale on the market.

Already purchased on La Torre, we’re on Phase 4. Good luck with your sale, I quite like the resort, its had a bit of bad press, but I have spent a few nice weeks there and the services on the resort are much better than the other polaris resorts. At E134,000 even if its not front line, I think thats a very reasonable price although I don’t know phase 9 as such and as stated the ER is not good for UK purchasers.
