There seems to be some sort of a problem with an urbanisation in Xativa (Carraixet de Xàtiva) in the Valencian region being developed by an English guy called Graham John Carver, through a company called Projecte Taronja, SL. The local press reports that, due to the downturn, the developer will now only urbanise part of the land, and build only 38 of the proposed 200 villas. Apparently this development has been marketed to British buyers since 2005, so it’s possible that some people are affected by this. Apparently there was quite a lot of local political opposition to this development, and the licences might not have been 100% in order.
