We’ve had a make-over, in case you hadn’t noticed. Hope you like it.

Yes, but it doesn’t seem to fit my browser (Firefox) window any more!

Hmmm. Why is nothing ever simple?

Can you tell me what your screen resolutions are set at? That will help to identify the problem.

      Thanks

      Looks Good.

Just for observation this page has an advert for hermosahomesspain

      Slogan “PURCHASE SAFELY IN SPAIN”

(We only recommend and market properties which meet our own strict criteria regarding construction quality and clear legal title.)

If you look for properties in Marbella you will find that almost every property advertised up to 400,000 euros does not have an L.F.O.?

      Regards

      Jim : 😕

Do you mean the page doesn’t fit the screen? (I’m a technophobe!! 😳 ) It seems fine on my PC.

I like the new look Mark. It looks very clean and it appears very quick to respond!

Much cleaner, crisper look with the change of background colour etc.
Easier on the eye and certainly a more up-to-date look than all that blue.
And on my tatty 8 year old laptop, it still fits beautifully!

Just one thing Mark. Getting a bit bored of seeing the same smiling, blushing, winking and ‘appearing shocked’ emoticons.
Can you update these too? There are some good ones from the same clan, and it would make a nice change.

      Not that I use them much myself 😯 😉 😆…………… 8)

      Hillybilly,

Very few users have such a low resolution. Only 2.72% of users of this website, to be precise. Would you mind increasing your resolution?

      Charlie,

A new set of emotions for a Spanish property forum? Now let’s see, what faces do we need? I guess we’ll need a ‘furious with a developer’ expression, and no doubt an expression of total stupefaction will come in handy, not to mention a ‘this can’t be happening to me’ face. Have I missed anything?

      Mark –
Maybe a picture of a Zimmer Frame with ‘Success’ stuck on the front.

As Ronnie from ‘Blessed’ would say,
      “Very nice, very tasteful”

Looks good on the Mac using Firefox, Safari and Opera

You would need a screen resolution of 1024×768 wide to view without scrolling and this would cover most laptops and desktops made in the last 7 years. People often have their resolution set too low, below the default setting

How about a “spitting blood” and a “jumping up and down” (…with rage of course!) emoticon!

      Hi Mark,

Same here not fitting the browswer automatically. I am using 1024 x 768 and I get a scroll bar along the bottom now and have to scroll across to see the whole posting.

      Kind regards

      Bernard

      Changed my mind, Mark!

Have just spent 30 minutes looking at hundreds of emoticons – all singing, all dancing, bouncing around –
      gave me total brain-damage….. 😯

Think the little chaps you already have are JUST FINE!

I upped the screen res to 1024 x 768 but everything just look awful like that and made me feel dizzy so I’ve reverted to “normal” (although it did get rid of the scroll bar at the bottom of this site). I think I’ll just have to live with it as this is the only site I use frequently where this happens!

Mines the opposite. If I lower my 1280×1024 resolution, the text, pictures and icons look blurry and larger giving me a eye ache. You should look up the native resolution of the monior and set it to that. Unless your computer is very old which probably wouldn’t even run windows xp properly, you won’t have a resolution of 800×600

Having said that, 1024 is perhaps a little too wide as you would want a bit of space on the side to see the desktop and 1024×768 is bar far the most popular resolution so something around 900 may be better. Most new monitors and laptops sold now are widescreen so 760 wide webpages (designed for printing in portrait mode) are less popular
