I have 2 apartments in Almerimar and one must sell!!
I am relucant to sell this apartment but since it is more desirable than my other I think I will have a better chance.
I have owned the property with my Spanish wife for 5 years and it is only used as my holiday home. Hence it is in excellent condition.
The complex was built by a small Spanish builder and started around 1999 finishing in 2007. It took 8 years to build 6 blocks!!! They are extremely high quality apartments, built to a very high standard. I believe it is the best complex in Almerimar a view shared by the town planning counciller when I spoke with him.
There are very few apartments in this complex for sale. There are 2 on fotocasa. One for 315,000 and one for 222,000. The last is an urgent sale (according to the entry) and dosen’t benefit from the second balcony that mine has. They are almost exclusively owned by Spanairds and used as weekend/holiday homes. My wife’s sister owns the one above and in my extended Spanish family we own 4 apartments in this complex. My 2nd apartment is in a differnt complex
As I say I am reluctant to sell this property. I am marketing it at 199,000 Euros and I am only doing this to take advantage of the low sterling rate as the funds will be brought back to the UK. If the pound moves back towards the 1.50 mark I will not sell it.
It’s probably a futile post given the market, but if you are looking for a property in Almerimar and were buying with a Euro mortgage then this is a discounted apartment. If you’re ultimately paying in Sterling then you won’t get the discount.
We are moving our boat from Plymouth to Almerimar in April 2009. We will also be looking to buy an apartment away from the immediate confines of the marina.
Could you please answer the following.
1 Have you any more pics to E mail ?.
2 Is this property on the market with any of the local agents?.
We are English cash buyers and once we find what we want we will complete very quickly, any price must reflect this. Are you open to offers?
We visited the area three weeks ago and found that there are an enormous number of homes on the market but prices were not reflecting the current financial situation, In fact some of the homes have been on the market for over three years.
