Can anyone suggest a good reputable mortgage broker in Southern Spain, I am originally from Malaga but have lived in the UK for 11 years so therefore I am slightly out of touch, I assume, I will be treated in the same way as a non resident when it comes to the range of mortgages available to me, I have got a property in the UK which I was gonna sell since I was considering just packing up and move back permanently, however, I tend to have to many second thoughts on the matter, any advice on general living, jobs out in the Costa del Sol,etc will be greatly apreciated as it will help me have a better picture and therefore make a better decision. As I mentioned, I keep having second thoughts so I suppose I am trying to gather as much information as possible, I did ask questions of similar nature in the past and was very close to making the move then but as life unfolds often in misterious ways, I found myself considering the pros and cons and could not make a decision, besides, I was not aware that people who might need additional reasurance and more diverse points of views were limited to just one question on the same subject. I was hopping that perhaps some newcomers to the forum with 1st hand relevant experience might have had something to share on the subject.

You are in a classical situation where people who have lived in two countries for a long time find themselves. There are plus & minuses in both countries. If you have found the Utopia share it with us.

Forums will allways have a hot subject and I am afraid this hot topic is all over Spain i.e. Illegal builds, corrupt Mayors/lawyers, ineffective supervision. The Spaniards are also caught in it, as they know the system/language/enchufes, they are least affected by it.

If you want a globel information, you just need to keep on reading and keep on shifting the goal post.
