We made 3 bookings with Arrow Cars in November 2010 totalling 112 days in all. My Easter booking went fine, however we we came to pick up in June our a 67 day booking, we were told they have no diesel cars available which we had booked and paid extra for, so we had to take a petrol car as it was 21.45 hrs

We have now received an E-Mail saying the car they allocated us for September had been in an accident and had been written off, so they would not be able to honour our booking.

So then I suggested they go out and buy another car with the insurance claim money they chose to ignore me.

Readers be warned do not rely on Arrow cars who so say specialise in long term rentals.

Besides, buying a new car which I beleive is a cyclical event i.e. they buy an agreed number of cars in a particular year coming of the production belt.

Any, respectable car hire company should be able to locate a car from their stock around the Country or agree to provide ASAP.
