My mother recently passed away and she had a Spanish will leaving my sisters and I her apartment in Furtevenutra etc

Her solicitor sent us a General Power of Attorney without any details of legal fees etc

I am request a breakdown of fees and was quoted as following

” Notary and registry fees would be around 1.200 € Solicitor fees would be 6.800 €. To this the plusvalia tax must be added”

 

I am surprised that legal fees for administration of inheritance could be so expensive. Could someone explain what are the normal fees associated with administration of inheritance, transfer of ownership etc

 

also what are the normal legal fees and estate agent fees for the selling of apartment
