hi can anyone help me i am looking at getting a mortgage for my property in pego i have had a look at barclays in uk and spain ..does anyone know any better deals out there thanks ..any info would be a great help .

If you take your mortgage through Barclays Spain, I believe you will have to have a bank account with them. We found out to our cost that although most banks seem to charge you once every two years for your non- residency certificate (or in some cases, not at all), Barclays Spain will charge you €15 per account holder every six months.
