Townhouse in a superb location in Begur. Don’t know what it’s like inside. For sale sign in the window. Talk about hard sell 😉

Duh! That’s the point. The sign is so sun bleached you can hardly read it.

But for all we know it might not be for sale. From the photo it looks like it could simply be a blank piece of card left there for some reason.

I love that area. Pity it doesn’t have a longer season though.

I was being ironic. It looks like a blank piece of paper in a window but if you look closely it says en venta so not exactly hard sell.

We come up Semana Santa (always rains) then May to October. Not good for winter sunshine but a good long summer. In the winter there is always the Pyrenees not far away. It’s no exaggeration to claim this region has a lot going for it.

Russians are building extraordinary villas and hotel in the area. No expense spared.

Thanks for the info. We’ve stayed in Tamariu just down the coast before and loved it – to me it’s everything the med should be. Pine forests, coves, crystal clear waters, etc. I still keep an eye open for property around there – we paid over €2000 for a week via a UK agent, and it’s pretty obvious there will always be an international rental demand. The market must be very detached from the Spanish economy. It’s just a bit too far from Madrid for me though 🙁

(I still can’t see any writing on that sign though – maybe it’s my computer screen)
