Many of the forum users will be aware of Moribor i.e. Madrid interbank rates. I am aware that a number of lenders have/still do use this. What is the diversion in the two rates ?

I think the mibor is really only used for mortgages dating back to before the euro was introduced. After then I think nearly all new mortgages used the euribor as their reference. I believe the mibor and euribor hardly divert at all – but I can’t find much data.

Thanks, if you cant find any data than it must be buried in the ground or should I say in the case of Spain stuffed in a wall/pigeon hole some where in the outskirts of Madrid or perhaps in El Escorial.
