The article you link to is based on something I wrote. Why link to second hand news when you can get it first hand at this site? Please, people (not just you Shakeel, as many do it), when it comes to Spanish property news, check my blog (Property Buff – see above) for original content before you start sending our visitors to other sites.

40 flats in Sun Village, Palau-Saverdera, Catalonia, to be demolished

By the way, this article is not about demolitions in Barcelona. The condemned properties are in the Alt Empordà, about 150 kms north of Barcelona.

      Thanks

      Mark

Mark – just my personal view. I think the term ‘Property Buff’ may not be attracting the people who would otherwise be eager to read your informative articles. A term that highlights Latest News, or something like that would most likely become a regular ‘daily click’ for many. But, as I say, just my own thoughts.

Thanks for letting me have your thoughts on that Suzanne. You might be right. Anyone else have an opinion on this? What does the name Property Buff mean to you?

Yes I agree with Suzanne. Until you once pointed it out on another thread I hadn’t read it. I used to think it was just an occasional bulletin on the state of the market.

…….yes, same here. Does sound like casual opinion on state of the market.

Well, that’s a pretty unanimous thumbs down. Clearly the name doesn’t do its job. Guess I’ll have to change it to something like ‘latest news & analysis’. Any objections to that?

Shame. I love the word ‘buff’. Got lots of meanings.

Whilst we are at it, what about ‘intelligence’? What does that mean to you? It should suggest ‘useful information’, which is what you get when you click on it, but what do I know what people actually think.

Well Mark – you are telling the”naked truth”! Probably buff is not the right catch phrase. What about something simple like Property – latest facts and figures. Doesn’t seem very “sexy” but you are trying to cater for a very wide audience.

      .
How about “Click here for a free crate of vino” – that’s “sexy”. 😀

      Serious hat on:

How about “Breaking News” – that always makes me curious.

Why not call it “Marks Blog” or “SPI Blog” ..OR….If you don’t want to change the “Property Buff” heading add your blog on as another heading.

I apologise if it was second hand news. MARK, I have asked you atleast three or four times in the past as to how to excess past topics etc, some kind of search facility. I have not had response from you on it.

I wasn’t aware of that request Shakeel. To search the forum just click search above then follow instructions. To search the whole site you can either use the Google toolbar (if you have it installed) or go to the home page and use the search box there to search the site for a particular term.

If you don’t have the Google toolbar installed you can also do it by punching ‘xxx site:www.spanishpropertyinsight.com’ into any Google searchbox, where ‘xxx’ is the term you are searching for.

I think charlie’s ‘breaking news’ is on the right track or ‘issues today’, or something that draws you in to ‘new’ news.

Well done by the way for the site on the whole. Still the best site for intelligent information and helpfull posts in my opinion.
