We are selling our villa in Spain as we have now moved to Asia. The property has been run as a rental home for 4 years and have accounts to show and tax returns. The property is more or less booked from April – November completely each year. Not sure if we can post web addresses here but its exclusive – calpe – villa couk.
The villa is due to be valued in 2 weeks but we have been advised around €550-600k. Would be happy to reduce for a quick sale but not in a huge rush to sell.
How slow is the market in Spain at the moment, are good properties still selling if priced right? Are the Russians and Eastern Europeans still buying property in Altea and Spain in general.
Located in an exclusive, quiet residential area and close to the Sea, this impressive detached property is set in its own beautiful tropical gardens with private swimming pool and BBQ area. It also offers fantastic views of the coastline and the famous Penon de Ifach Rock. The sea is 200m away and a beach and a small marina with 2 bar/restaurants is just a 3 minutes walk , perfect for soaking up the sun and views of the Rock The main town of Calpe is within a very short drive, where you will find two beautiful golden sandy blue flag safe beaches as well as a modern marina next to the old fishing port. Calpe is a town rich in history and culture and has an excellent selection of restaurants, bars, pavement cafes and interesting shopping.
Outside, the villa boasts of a well maintained tropical garden with a beautiful private swimming pool area with stunning views and a shaded marble seating area.
The impressive pool basks in the Spanish sun until sunset and is complete with sun loungers. There is also a marble seating area under the shady palm tree so perfect for a spot of lunch whilst the children swim. A perfect place for an evening apertif while gazing at the setting sun on the Sea and the Penon de Ifach Rock..
The Villa consists of 3 spacious self contained apartments which can be rented throughout the year as one private unit.
The top apartment consists of 1 double and 1 twin bedroom, a large and airy lounge, a large naya ( conservatory) leading onto the roof terrace and a modern large bathroom and kitchen. All apartments have Satellite TV , DVD, Radio/CD players and the ususal kitchen appliances .
Several popular restaurants are within a few minutes walk of the Villa. Nearest is Calpe’s well known Oscars Restaurant/Bar serving a variety of International food and offering a relaxing place to have a cool drink. Adjacent to the restaurant is a private tennis club. Facilities available to you include racket hire, coaching for all ages and the use of a large swimming pool should you wish to relax with a drink or meal at Oscars.
Another popular restaurant is the Maryvilla Restaurant only 100m from the Villa serving a variety of good food on a terrace overlooking the Sea
Calpe is within 5 minutes drive of the Villa and here you will a good selection of of shops, restaurants and pavement cafes. The numerous restaurants offer Chinese, German, Indian, Spanish and English cuisine, all providing moderately priced dishes.
Two of our recommendations for excellent eateries are in the historical Old Town. The Patio De Fuentes serves very good value meals served in a very comfortable atmosphere. . Its chef was trained by Jamie Oliver and Not far from Patio de Fuentes is another favourite, Dos Canons . offering al fresco dining next to the ramparts. Not to be missed.
