The advantages of buying and selling Spanish property direct from owners (also known as Spanish FSBO – for sale by owner)

The big advantage of FSBOs is they cut out the agent’s commission, which leaves more money in the pot for both the buyer and the vendor to negotiate over. So buying or selling Spanish property direct can be a way to save thousands of Euros in agents commission. Another advantage is that owners are normally happy to reveal the exact location of their property for sale in Spain, whereas most agents don’t publish exact locations to avoid the competition approaching the vendor.
