Half of Spanish house-hunters target the Valencian Region for a holiday-home

52pc of Spanish house-hunters looking for a second home in Spain are looking in the Valencian Region, according to a new survey by the property company Básico Homes.

18pc of the 1,000 people surveyed by Básico Homes in November said they were after a second home, down from 25pc in May. That makes sense, given that holiday-home buyers are active in the Spring and early autumn, and then lose interest at this time of the year.

Those are just some of the findings from this in-depth survey, which I recommend to anyone who wants to understand Spanish demand for housing today.
