What about villa and apartment rentals in the Costa Brava?
If you own a property and wish to rent it out to tourists you don’t need a licence to do so, though you are expected to declare your rental income and pay tax on it. Attractive properties near the coast rent well in the summer, though you can only expect 8 to 10 weeks occupancy in this area, as the summer season is shorter. There is a good choice of rental management companies in the area to help you book and manage the lettings, though professionalism is sometimes lacking.
